Looking back on my weight loss journey  I wish someone pointed me in the right direction when I first started…before I made mistakes.   The purpose of my blog is to tell my weight loss story.  My ups, my downs- and everything in between.

6 months ago I would have never believed I would be able to get myself in shape for my 10 year high school reunion.   I thought my weight loss goals were totally off base and not attainable.  I thought it was a lost cause.  Mainly because  I used to think that the only way to get a great body was either spend all of my time in the gym (which I defiantly didn’t want to do) or have  been born with great genetics.

I started my quest to lose weight just about 10 months ago. I know I said 6 months, but the first 4 months I didn’t really lose any weight.  I spent my time jumping from one fad diet to the next and trying every quirk and trick I came across on the internet. None of it worked.    I even tried the weight loss pills (they make your heart race and you feel like you drank 10 cups of coffee…don’t use them!!), but still no results, no six pack abs.  Honestly, I only tried the pills for a brief period. I gave up on them after a week…I really didn’t like how they made me feel.

Ok, so that last paragraph sounded like a total infomercial.  Sorry…But I really did try everything. None of it made me lose weight or scream at the top of my lungs…look at my ripped abs baby!

Work Out Lower Abs

All of my posts will be related to this program in some way, since it’s the one that worked for me. I recommend you check it out.  Basically what the program has taught me is that you cant just target your abs – you have to take a holistic approach.

I have been losing weight consistently for the past 6 months.  50lbs on the dot exactly – as of today.

One of the first things that was hard for me to learn when I began my weight loss journey was some foods that I considered “bad” for me were actually “good” for me.  Its hard to break stereo types and ideas that are based on false pretenses. Imagine my surprise when I found out I could eat chocolate as a way to work out lower abs!

Work Out Lower Abs – First Post!

I never thought I would be writing a blog about losing weight.  But here I am sharing my story. My name is Oz-  and 6 months ago I was 220 lbs.  Today, I’ve managed to maintain an ab exercise program that not only got me six pack abs, but allowed me to consistently lose weight at a steady rate with little effort.

I always thought that losing belly fat and getting that six pack  was only achieved by spending hours in the gym doing exercises that work out lower abs. But man I was wrong!  Over the next few posts I will be sharing my secret and detailing how I was able to lose the weight, flatten my stomach & get noticeable abs.
